Meet the Founder

As a registered nurse who later transitioned into financial services, travel has always been part of my life. Airports, suitcases, and tight schedules became routine.

But there was one experience that never got easier.

Standing at the check-in counter, hoping your luggage is not overweight. Then that moment when it is, and you have to open your suitcase right there in front of everyone. It is frustrating, stressful, and honestly, embarrassing.

I have been through that more times than I can count. Paying excess baggage fees. Repacking at the airport. Guessing instead of knowing.

At some point, I realized this was not just my problem. It is something travelers everywhere deal with, and no one had truly solved it.

So I decided to create the solution. That is how AVALI™ was born.

AVALI™ is designed to bring intelligence, ease, and confidence back into travel. No more guessing. No more last-minute stress. Just a smarter and more elevated experience from the moment you start packing.

This journey is also deeply personal to me. It is dedicated to my children, Abraham and Valerie, who have been my greatest source of inspiration and strength throughout this entire process.

A bathroom scale held at arm’s length is a guess. A luggage strap scale is a guess with a handle. Neither tells you anything while you are still packing, which is the only moment the information is useful.

The overweight fee is not the real cost. The real cost is the minute on the floor, the repacking, the line behind you. We designed the piece so that minute never arrives.

The shell is Makrolon polycarbonate by Covestro, the grade specified for aerospace glazing and medical housings. It is finished deep matte black. The frame is aluminium, trunk-style. The hardware is champagne gold, satin, never polished.

Each shell is numbered by hand at the point of assembly. The number is engraved, not printed. Two hundred and fifty pieces, and then the Founding Edition closes.
